The Future Makers 1. Biomimicry
The Future Makers documentary film explores exciting solutions to climate change and renewable energy models. Biomimicry is a new way of looking at the world, drawing inspiration from nature to create ecological models in technology, design and new ways of thinking. Janine Benyus, author of "Biomimicry: Innovation Inspired by Nature" describes how it works, followed by the example of tidal and power technologies invented by Dr Tim Finnigan. The film also explores world leading technologies in solar thermal energy, geothermal, solar photovoltaics, the hybrid plug-in, plug out car, ammonia storage, solutions that can make a difference now.
