It is the way of now and increasingly in the future. The consumer makes the market. We have passed the "maven" stage and are, I believe, still at the early adopter stage. As we move through the bell curve and the masses understand the issues and benefits of " green products" marketers will either embrace the movement or lose share.

Regarding "green washing" there is legislation in place that fiscally punishes brands that are culpable.

All unsustainable products and the ones produced unethically should be heavily taxed to cover the real cost.

Has to be the way of the future but more complete assurance and transparency of claims is needed. There is a fine line between a "Green Product" and "Green Washing"
