Solar Energy - The Path to Self-Sufficency

More and more people are "going green" these days. Years ago, the idea of installing solar panels on your roof was a turn off due to the exorbitant cost of this technology. Globally this is quickly changing, with solar energy growing rapidly as a source of electricity around the world in the last 5 years, and in Australia, the industry is exploding.

With the generous government rebates due to reduce mid year, the fact of the matter is that everyone should look into making the switch to solar energy. There is an initial investment that needs to be made, but as traditional energy prices continue to rise, the cost of solar energy equipment continues to go down.

Even if you are not ready to convert your entire home to solar energy, you can instead invest in one of the many solar hot water systems available on the market. This type of solar thermal technology is becoming more and more popular because of the cost effectiveness.

Solar energy benefits everyone. The planet is better off because no emissions are involved. In some areas homes with solar energy are tied into the main electricity grid, enabling the people with excess solar power to sell it back to the utility company. This enables the homeowner to save even more money and it benefits the community by providing energy that can be used when there are power outages or shortages.

To sum up, solar energy is good for the environment, your community, and the economy, but most of all it's good for you and your bank account. Regardless of what some people say, the fossil fuels provided by the earth are going to run out someday. As this happens prices are quickly going to go up until only the very rich can afford them. The time is right to get a head start and get ready for self-sufficiency before it's too late.

We're all impacted by the rising cost of electricity due to underspend on infrastructure over the years, and with the impending carbon tax, we'll expect to see our power bills keep rising.

If you're in Perth and thinking about making the move to solar, why not give us a call? We'll give you a no obligation quote and our non-pushy, consultative sales process makes dealing with us a pleasure.
