Renewable energy from Sewage Treatment Plants

For those people interested in renewable energy you may want to check out the Renewable Energy Generation (REG) Program Sydney Water is implementing as part of its recent pledge to be carbon neutral by 2020.

The program involves installing cogenerational plants at sewage treatment plants to convert biogas, a product of the wastewater treatment process, into electricity.
