Creating a better future
50 'green' new year’s resolutions
This blog post is motivated from an overly indulgent Christmas. A Christmas (like most) that saw excessive amounts of paper being wasted on aesthetically beautiful gifts, salubrious functions catered with more food and drink than physically consumable and enough meat (turkey, ham, chicken, duck and beef) to keep an abattoir in business until February. Too busy
Just finished a really hectic period. Just wondering if one's 'busy-ness' affects the many tiny environmental choices made. A few times I had to stop myself "No don't do that - it'll only take a moment." eg to turn off the computer, food containers etc.Added by TC on December 2, 2008 at 4:30pm — No Comments
The Future Makers
Biomimicking is a word that is being thrown around in the scientific space at the moment. It is when humans replicate natural forms to invent new technology. A simpler name for it is ‘innovation inspired by nature.’Added by Georgia Muir on December 2, 2008 at 9:00am — 6 Comments
