Sustainability - Is America getting it?

I just came back from a great two week trip to New York and Washington. It was my first time to that part of the world and I was keen to experience the true American culture, drinking beer out of large plastic cups, have a half smoked chili dog, going to a Yankees game and catching some of the US Open.

Expectations for an international agreement lowered as Copenhagen approaches

With less than 80 days remaining until government officials and national delegates convene in Copenhagen to agree on a framework that will replace the Kyoto Protocol, target expectations and hopes for a framework that will satisfy both developing and developed countries have begun to ebb.

Since gaining the EU’s rotating Presidency in July, Sweden has been outlining the position that the EU will take on the negotiations in Copenhagen this upcoming December. While initially optimistic,… Continue

Is Washington Losing Focus

On the Environment that is. All we hear from Washington and the main stream media is the debate about public Medical insurance/Citizen insurance. It FEELS like environmental issues have been forgotten. We had some momentum going for awhile, and to keep it, we need a grass roots blogging effort to put these issues back in the spotlight. If you can, write a blog about energy saving tips, recycling… Continue
