I love skydiving, SCUBA diving, aerobatic flying, hiking, and offshore sailing. Unfortunately all of these activities involve burning fossil fuels to participate in and consumption of fossil fuels to manufacture most of the gear. To reconcile this apparent disregard for the environment, I sell a software package to assist enterprises with monitoring and reducing the power consumption in their PC fleets.
For every 1000 PC's I install Greentrac onto I can potentially save 450 tonnes of C02 entering the atmosphere.
I recently took a year off to travel Australia working on a variety of organic farms, observing the food production chain from field to market. What an eye opener!
I enjoy long distance walking and have enjoyed wondeful times on the Overland Track, Hinchinbrook Island, 5 weeks in Upper Dolpo, Nepal and walking around the Dolomites in Italy.

I am a firm believer in using technology to help us to reduce our environmental impact

I enjoy a robust discussion and having my eyes opened to new ideas.

Hi Phil,

Thanks for your message. The best way to respond is to post your own message on the same discussion thread. We have however completed the video interviews and should be up in a couple of weeks. But will let you know when we do the next one.

Cheers
Lee

More and more people are "going green" these days. Years ago, the idea of installing solar panels on your roof was a turn off due to the exorbitant cost of this technology. Globally this is quickly changing, with solar energy growing rapidly as a source of electricity around the world in the last 5 years, and in Australia, the industry is exploding. With the generous government rebates due to reduce mid year, the fact of the matter is that everyone should look into making the switch to solar…See More
