Cheap carbon!

As noted in today's AFR, at less than the Chinese government's mandated minimum 8 euro, EU CERs are looking decidely cheap.
Few Australian companies have grasped the opportunity to purchase CDM CER's at less than the likely minimum Australian CPRS price.
A good thing for the environment perhaps but a bad thing for shareholder value of Australian companies?

Technology developers are set to launch commercial-scale plants...if only the economics rewarded them!
It seems that the proposed ETS does not adequately incent soil carbon.
