1. The owner wants to sell in 3 to 4 years and walk away with a big cheque, and you can’t do that with an unstructured business,
2. The business needs to demonstrate to the market that is has grown up, by gaining an ISO certificate.
There are ISO standards for business management, environmental management, information security, IT service management, business continuity planning and so on.
3. The business is in a mess
