The Real Cost: Practical Resources

WHAT IS THE SUPPLY CHAIN?

The supply chain is the network of suppliers that together bring a product to a consumer. This network ranges from raw material suppliers to manufacturers to warehouses and distribution centres to retailers. The following resources explore the supply chain by looking at “The Real Cost’ associated with the purchasing decisions we make.

It is our responsibility as individual to look after our planet. The human race greed is destroying it. As they say the planet will provide for our need not our greed. If we are conscious of our own action the planet will be a better place. We need to reduce our consumption of fossil fuel, simple actions like switching off lights and computer when not used, catching public transport, using double sided copies (to save number of paper for photocopy), replacing leaking taps, using water efficient washing machine, solar power energy, all these will help reduce the carbon dioxide emission.
Cheers
